CNC Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is looking for first class machinists for their machine shop in the Hanover manufacturing facility. Will be responsible for machining pieces of aluminum and steel on Conventional and Haas CNC mills. The Machinist must be able to read and work from blueprints. Machinist will be responsible for Set up, and Operation of all conventional and Haas CNC mills (specifically a 4 axis horizontal mill).

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Measure and examine completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
-Work independently or as part of a team with no supervision and make sound decisions and solve technical problems
-Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on Machine Shop equipment
-Rigging and operation of lifting and material handling equipment. (overhead cranes, gantries, forklifts).
-Trains and assists junior machinists.
-Work in diversified and complex situations. Solutions require the use of independent judgment following company policies and procedures.
-Intimately familiar with Machine Shop Safety and OSHA requirements.
