Aerotek is hiring for Customer Claims Specialists for one of their top clients in the warranty industry. These positions are full time Monday through Friday roles that start at $13.94/hr with occasional weekend work during peak periods. The client is located in the central Aurora, Denver area.
Job Responsibilities of the Customer Claims Specialist
- The Inbound Claims Specialist answers calls on claims that are already in process.
- The Specialist is responsible for authorizing payment on claims by researching and resolving unresolved issues with both contractors and homeowners.
- Will be working on the systems and appliances side of the business - claims will mostly be about HVAC systems and other home appliances.
- Research, analyze, and make coverage determinations regarding warranty obligations
- inform homeowners and contractors about coverage determinations
- document all interactions in a written manner using internal systems
Job Qualifications of the Customer Claims Specialist
MUST HAVE
- GED or diploma
- customer service experience - call center preferred but not required
- excellent communication skills
NICE TO HAVE
- industry experience - HVAC, plumbing, appliances
- warranty or insurance background handling claims
