Estimator

Aerotek is currently hiring for an assistant estimator (takeoff technician) for a local excavating company.

Daily Functions

• Understand and interpret project site blueprints, drawings and maps work with computer programs and instruments related to length, width, area, angle and slope.
• Prepares and distributes reports to estimators on a timely basis to prepare project costs.
• Contacts appropriate subcontractors and vendors for quotes
  Read and understand bid documents, plan details, bid forms and required scope.
