Sensors & Integrated Systems (SIS) provides cutting-edge sensors and sensor-based systems for the commercial aerospace, ground vehicle and defense industries including electronic flight bags, air data systems, ice detection and protection systems, fire protection systems, fuel measurement and management systems, guidance navigation and control systems, health and usage management systems, rescue hoists, mission data recorders, and sensing suites for aircraft engines.

The Systems Test Engineer will join the Sensors and Integrated Systems be responsible for the development of diagnostic test scripts which will verify real-time embedded and signal processing systems for commercial aircraft. Will take data from systems tests, run through labs for analysis, defect reporting.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering OR equivalent years of related professional experience.
  • Experience with embedded systems diagnostics, maintenance or development of diagnostic test scripts
  • Experience developing test scripts for Verification/Validation purposes, using C++, Python, MATLAB or other object oriented software languages.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of aerospace software/systems requirements, documentation preferred.
  • Experience with DO-178 aerospace software/systems requirements preferred
  • Experience with embedded RTOS preferred
  • Knowledge of or experience with Digital Signal Processing
  • Mechanical engineering degree/professional experience
  • Experience with drivetrains, vibration analysis
