Chemical Operator Trainee

Our client, a world-wide leader in their industry, is looking to add 4 Chemical Operator Trainee / Batch Mixers to their team. These are 12 hour shifts (4am-4:30pm OR 4pm-4:30am) with a rotating schedule 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off. This position will be lifting 50lbs fairly regularly, as well as standing on their feet for a prolonged period of time.

After 90 days you will receive a $1 pay increase.

They have a NEW Chemical Operator training program.

1st Training Module Successfully completed: $14/hr (base)

Satisfactory review rating at 6 months in the program, by trainer and supervisor: $16/hr

2nd Training Mod. Successfully completed: $17/hr.

3rd Training Mod. $18/hr.

4th Training Mod. $19/hr.

*** Completion of the Chemical Operator training program could potentially take between 36 and 48 months.

*** If a trainee has more than a verbal warning on file for safety, attendance, performance or quality while in the process of training, training will halt for the employee for 12 months from the date of the incident.

MUST HAVES:

• AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF Proven experience following a detailed process in any industry.
• Batch mixing or process operating experience.
• Proven leadership experience preferred.
• Proven attendance record
• Ability to lift 50lb regularly
• High attention to detail
• Willing to submit to a drug test and background check
• High school diploma or G.E.D are required
