Aerotek Scientific is looking for qualified 3 Staff Scientists and Senior Scientists who want to work for in a bio-chemical laboratory located in the Columbia, MO area.
Position Summary:
- This is an advanced level professional position involved in planning their own work and supervising the day to day activities in a laboratory setting under prescribed processes (protocols, standard operating procedures, methods, etc.)
- Completes work for research and development under CGMP and/or GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc.
- Conducts and monitors studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.
- Writes reports on studies.
- Provides complex analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments.
- Typically serves as a technical leader within a group or team and may also serve as a project leader/ study director.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must have a degree in Biology, Chemistry, or some sort of life sciences.
- Must have at least 3 years of industry experience doing cell based assays, cellular biology, immunology, ELISA, or Western Blot.
Starting Pay, Benefits, and Working Hours:
- Pay Rates: $22 - $32.00/hr (based off of experience)
- Full Benefits available (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.)
- Relocation packages provided
- Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM
