About this job

This role is responsible for developing solutions to manufacturing issues relating to materials, tooling and processes. The Manufacturing Engineer will be involved in planning or adapting methods to improve production processes.

Responsibilities:

- Reviewing of manufacturing process to develop methods for cost effectiveness and feasibility both before and after release to manufacturing.

- Develop all engineering releases and changes relative to routing, setting standards, data entry and follow up.

- Develop processes, tooling, and production controls for new programs. Supervise their assembly and proofing.

- Basic tooling design in AutoCAD Inventor.

- Write operation procedures for new and existing equipment.

- Debugging and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. Associates degree in Engineering field and 3+ years of relevant experience considered.
  2. 1+ year of experience in manufacturing engineering preferred.
  3. CAD modeling experience, 3D preferred. Autodesk Inventor experience a bonus.
  4. Experience applying lean manufacturing principals and cost reduction methods.
  5. Experience procuring materials preferred.
  6. Experience debugging and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment preferred.
  7. Experience working in a machining environment preferred.
