About this job
Hi I am hiring for a Credentialing Specialist position with a Health Care company located in N Austin. This is a project based position approved for a minimum of 30 days and possibly to end of the year. There are often contract employees who perform well and are then converted to full-time employment as other roles open up. There are NO guarantees however, this is a short-term project.
The credentialing and provider data management department has a backlog of Providers that need to be credentialed and enrolled or re-enrolled.
PDM staff with receive a checklist and verify various documents as it relates to the Providers (aka Doctors) licenses and certifications. They will use websites to verify this information. Once verified some of the staff will do the actual data entry and loading of provider data into the system/database.
Job Qualifications:
-Experience with Credentialing, Provider Enrollment, or Provider Data Management is a big plus but not required. It would be helpful to have and managed care experience dealing with Medicaid such as claims.
-Must have strong word and excel skills such as building spreadsheets, manipulating formulas and data sets.
-Candidates must have strong experience working in multiple databases, performing data entry.
-High attention to detail.
-Experience reaching information to complete tasks related to a project.
-Analytical mindset is very important as well as critical thinking skills.
