Have experience with Insurance Verification and looking for something new?! A company in the Tigard/Beaverton area is looking for a few people to join their team in verifying insurance, data entry and being able to communicate over the phone with professionals and patients.

Job Description:

  • You would be responsible for performing the appropriate procedures to verify patient eligibility, coordinate benefits, run test claims and determine patient coverage.
  • Be able to obtain and enter insurance coverage information for ordered services into patient's file.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage of medications, administration supplies, and related pharmacy services.
  • Facilitate and completes the Prior Authorization process with insurance companies and practitioner offices
  • Complete a full Medical Verification for all medications, administration supplies and related pharmacy services.
  • Some phone coverage for inbound calls, not answering continual inbound calls like a traditional customer service representative.
  • Handling customer elevated issues on pharmacy claims

Qualifications:

  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Experience with pharmacy claims - highly preferred
  • Ability to handle escalated issues in claims process
  • HS Diploma
  • Needs to be able to type 30 WPM
  • Computer skills-will toggle between multiple screens while on the phone with patients
  • Ideal candidate: Pharmacy Technician with experience in order entry
