Controls Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description: Responsibilities include
* Understand, develop and review systems, software and hardware designs, including facility inputs
* Ensure that all the performance and design specifications have been met, all tests have been conducted at the factory and the installation site, and acceptance testing and commissioning is completed
* Maintain current design documentation
* Manage fabrication of the control systems, both internally and externally
* Provide technical and administrative oversight for the system design, engineering, installation and commissioning
* Knowledge of technologies methodologies that could enhance performance or reduce the cost of developing or maintaining systems; adapt quickly to new innovation within the marketplace

Qualifications: Qualifications
* 5 years of experience in the electrical design and engineering field as related to controlling electromechanical systems
* Broad system engineering experience with the integration of mechanical and electrical systems
* Experience with the hardware and/or software requirements, development, design, engineering, test methodologies, and field installation
* Knowledge of Programmable Controllers and/or General Purpose Computers used in industrial and safety applications
* Able to provide technical guidance at a systems software or hardware level
* Knowledge of relevant Industrial Standards
* Ability to read architectural, as well as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings
* Experience in drafting
* Strong communication skills across design disciplines
