QC Lab Tech - Full-time / Part-time

* This job will be 90% lab work on the bench, and 10% office/administrative work.
* Test stability samples, environmental samples, shelf life samples, and water samples.
* Inspect finished products and raw materials
* Start out performing testing including pH, titration and FTIR. After progressing and showing proficiency, this individual will cross-train and advance on to working with HPLC and GC
* Calibrate pH meters, titrators, and analytical balances daily.
* Cross train in the microbiology lab and perform micro analysis. This could include working with gram staining, plating, media preparation, growth inhibition, incubators, refrigerators, freezers, water baths, dishwashers, and autoclave.
* Accurately record data and effectively communicate results to QA team members.
* Work with spreadsheets and company databases to file records properly.
* Follow strict protocols for customer testing standards, as well as OTC, Cosmetic, and Medical device/FDA manufacturing guidelines

Top 3 Skills:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
2. Lab experience with pH, titrations, FTIR and HPLC or GC.
3. Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and databases.
