Claims Processor

Aerotek is currently hiring for reputable company in the Greater Scranton Area for a full time claims processor to start on November 6th, 2017.

• Location: Jessup, PA
• Pay : $10.50/hour
• Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
• Placement Type: 6 month contract-to-hire. Overtime may be required including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• processing claims in the claims processing system.
• determining if health claim is payable based on federal and/or state regulations, plan benefits, provider contracts, as well as policies and procedures.
• adjudicating claims via claims processing systems
• reviewing and determining provider and member eligibility
• reviewing/resolving claim/customer service inquiries on a daily basis.

Must haves:

• 6+ months of data entry experience OR 6+months of customer service
• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Drug and background check required.
