Warehouse Worker

Our client is looking for a candidate with inventory control, shipping and receiving, and the ability to use power tools. Below is a full job description.

Job Description:
- Perform a variety of tasks related to dock and stock work including packing, unpacking and other stock duties.
-Load and unload materials from pallets, trays, racks, or trucks.
-Count, weigh, verify and kit materials, must be able to read ruler to report dimensions.
- Handle and move material using hand trucks, forklift or other devices; stack or assemble materials and crates as needed.
-Prepare shipmates for pickup including shrink wrap, palatalize, banding and labeling as needed.
-Ensures all packaging and labeling is completed accurately and completely for type of shipment.
- Familiar with use of small power tools, cordless drills and chop saws for crate building and packing.
- Alerts the production supervisor of any shortages of inventory to meet customer orders.
- Directs packing operation in the most efficient manner to insure the shipping operation can perform on a timely basis.
- Ensures customer packaging standards are maintained and works toward continuous improvement methods including packaging methods.
- Responsible for packaging all outgoing products.
- May perform cycle audit counting and assist in correct inventory counts.
