A leading and established hospital in the Denver Metro area is hiring a Medical Billing Support Specialist to join their team. Looking for someone to start in the next two weeks!
Job Description:
-Working on the referral billing team and responsible for working discharge reports and understanding why the billing didn't drop on the discharge of patients
-Handling the validation work for the new billing system that they are transitioning too
-Running exception reports to understand if they need to add a physician, ICD 10 code, address, etc.
-Answering incoming phone calls from patients and understanding what they need in order to triage them to another Billing Specialist
Qualifications:
-Seeking candidates with a minimum of 3+ years of Healthcare experience
-Seeking candidates with a Payment Posting, A/R, or Customer Service background
-Laboratory billing experience preferred, not required
-Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology
-Seeking individuals that are detail oriented, lead with integrity, are self-motivating and customer service focused
