Self-Driving Vehicle Operator

Seeking individuals to assist in the development of Self-Driving Vehicles. Will act as a Vehicle Operator during this phase of R&D and ensure vehicle is properly monitored throughout test drives around the greater Pittsburgh area. Will assist Mapping Specialists as they monitor vehicle progress as well. All current openings are a first shift from 8a.m. to 4p.m.

Pay: $22/hr. and up

Duration: Open ended contract - Project will last up to 5 years

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with 5+ years of experience and a clean driving record
• Ability to monitor software via laptop and type effectively in a moving vehicle (If required to work from Passenger Seat)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a professional work environment where safety, procedure and/or testing were emphasized
• Experience operating an autonomous vehicle
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study

• Excellent written communication skills
• Detail oriented mindset with a focus on safety and procedure
• Ability to operate a vehicle in a professional manner for extended periods of time
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
