A leading Service and Repair of heavy equipment and large truck manufacturing is seeking experienced Paint Prep and Painter candidates to join their team.
Job Duties:
Paint Prep
- Working in the Paint Building doing mostly paint prep, sanding, taping, masking large concrete boom trucks, concrete mixer trucks, and pumper trailers to be painted.
- Will also be doing dis-assembly and re-assembly of components of the trucks.
- Working with hand sanders, power sanders, operating pressure washer, hand tools, power tools
- Will be operating power sanders and sanding surfaces under truck and on top of truck throughout
- $14-16/hr
Final Prep:
- Wet sand, buffing and polishing trucks
- Interior and exterior detailing
- Touch up painting and some custom painting
- Reattachment of all components with hand and power tools
- Final testing and finishing work
- $16-18/hr
Painting
- Operating HLVP and Pressure Pot spray guns in large spray booth
- Painting large boom trucks and cement mixer trucks
- Custom painting
- Final touchup painting and demasking of trucks
- $17-22/hr
Requirements:
- 6 + months paint prep experience OR heavy mechanical background
- Own basic tools
- Automotive preferred
1st shift: 5am-3:30pm MOnday-Thursday with overtime Friday and Saturday
2nd shift: 3:30pm - 1am Monday-Thursday with overtime Friday and Saturday
These are potential long-term to permanent positions with room to grow.
