Manufacturing Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

• This position will primarily work in the assembly area of the plant. This position will be required to perform continuous improvement, counter measure initiatives for customers and quality concerns and maintain assembly equipment.
• This position will require interaction and communication with multiple levels including: line leaders, supervisors, engineering and management to coordinate repairs, improvements and maintenance to assembly equipment.
• This role will also update monthly reports, collect and analyze data to troubleshoot line processes and reduce overall assembly costs.
• This position will also manage the design and installation of new assembly lines form vendors. It will confirm assembly processes to guarantee part quality, retrofit equipment for new business, coordinate projects with departments and procure funding for projects.

MUST HAVES:

• MUST HAVE at least Associate's Degree in Engineering
  
• MUST HAVE experience troubleshooting assembly/manufacturing equipment
  
• MUST HAVE knowledge of engineering skills towards manufacturing engineering- apqp, pfmea, continuous improvement, six sigma methodologies
• PREFERRED:
  Bachelors Degree and 3 co-ops.
  Associate's Degree and 5 year's experience
