Medical Assistant

Aerotek is looking Front Office Medical Assistant for a Oncology Clinic in College Station, TX.

Position exists to perform front and back office duties which will deliver quality patient care Medical Clinic patients. These duties include scheduling, charge capture, supply management, and equipment maintenance, and providing outstanding customer service to patients, physicians, Health System staff, and other professionals.

Indirect Patient Care

Performs initial patient intake and documents information in the patient medical record.
Performs and documents general therapeutic/diagnostic measures in the patient medical records
Coordinates with appropriate laboratory for pick-up on lab specimens for testing.
Uses hand washing, aseptic and sterile technique appropriately.
Cares for, cleans, and sterilizes instruments appropriately.
Performs cleaning of patient exam room following patient exams.

Qualified Candidates:

Medical Assistant Diploma required

2 years experience as Medical Assistant
