Aerotek is currently hiring a class of Customer Service Representatives in our "Cell Phone" department. We are seeking individuals that are dedicated and excited about opportunities within a customer service and call center environment. Details about this exciting opportunity are listed below:

Location: New Albany

Compensation: $14/hour

Work Environment:

Great work environment with a gym. Business casual and friendly.

This department works a 3 day/2 night rotation shift each week. They will also work 2 weekend shifts a Month (almost solely Saturdays).

Hours: Day shift is 8AM-430PM. Night shift is 3:00PM-11:30PM. The Saturday shift would be day hours ONLY.

The weeks they work a weekend shift, they will have a day off during the week, which will vary. The 3rd week of every month the schedule for the ENTIRE next month comes out so everyone knows EXACTLY what days they work nights and on the weekend.

TRAINING will be 8-430 for 2 weeks and then they will be moved to a normal schedule.

Job Summary:

Due to certain government regulations companies cannot dial cell phones on an automatic dialer. Due to this regulation, this department will dial accounts that are between 30-210+ days delinquent. The name and number will still auto-populate on the screen but they actually have to press something to dial.

This is a repetitive position and there will be roughly 80 calls/hour with a 45% connect rate. Some customers will hang up, some will be wrong number, and some will actually answer and speak to the contractor.

Qualifications:

  • Good customer service skills and phone articulation
  • Ability to read a script and speak personable on the phone
  • Ability to navigate and read a calendar
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • PERFECT attendance and timeliness (this department has a no tolerance attendance policy)
  • Descent work history (must show can hold a position for close to 2 years)
  • Goal driven and self-motivated
  • Ability to take feedback constantly (not uncommon to receive 3-4 coachings a shift)

Plus:

  • Phone experience (customer service/collections)
  • Sales experience of some sort (comfortable speaking through situations)
  • Customer facing experience
  • Higher education or in process of higher education
