About this job
Aerotek is currently working with a company that is in urgent need of a Manufacturing Engineer. This is a long term opportunity with a company that provides a great amount of upward mobility and a strong benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics
- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of design and applications
- Investigate equipment failures and diagnose faulty operations
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure machines and equipment are manufactured to specs
- Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
- Oversee and participate in all aspects of production; metal fab, design, BOM, and work orders
Qualifications:
1.Bachelors Degree in Engineering or an associates with strong & relevant work experience
2. 1-5 years experience in a metal fabrication environment
3. Hands on mechanical aptitude with experience with; electronics & Hydraulics specifically
4. 3D modeling experience 5. Experience reading Blueprints & Schematics, and BOM
