Machining Process Engineer

This position will be supporting the Process Engineering/Programming team for a large manufacturing company on a critical project involving the following:

1. Taking critical parts from current equipment and developing the new process on newly purchased Fanuc controlled CNC twin spindle lathes.

2. Minor G and M code edits and adjustments for the transfer of previous programs on to new equipment.

3. Making decisions on work holdings and tooling to best produce part number on new equipment.

4. Make suggestions for program and machining process improvement during transfer of part on to new equipment.

5. Work along side current process team to offer support and suggestions during prove out of parts.

Qualifications:

1. Fanuc/g and m code programming experience.

2. Knowledge of tooling/fixture/work holding selection.

3. Hands on machining background.
