About this job
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshoot and repair all avionics systems in a efficient and safe manner.
Individual must be able to perform this task with minimal or no supervision.
Technician must be capable and experienced to perform 91.411 and 91.413 inspections.
Have a complete understanding of IFR ramp test equipment or equivalent.
Technician must be knowledgeable in the following areas on Garmin software: Autopilots, Flight Directors, Multi-Function Displays, TCAS, EGPWS, EFIS systems, Nav/Comms, Entertainment, Flitefones, DME/Transponders, FMS, ADF and Radar.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Must have at least 5 years of recent line troubleshooting experience in the corporate aviation industry on Garmin products. Experience on Citation, King Air, Learjet recommended. Experience on Dassault, Gulfstream, Challenger and Hawker is preferred.
Education must include some type of formal training like Military Avionics school, Embry-Riddle, etc.
