About this job

We're looking for a Mobile Building Engineer to operate, inspect and maintain all HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment within 15-20 client facilities across the Twin Cities.

This individual will be mobile with their own work truck insuring that all equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner and down time is reduced to a minimum by handling any anticipation of repairs.

Job Duties include:
-Keeping records of past repairs and operating experiences.
-Inspect and repair assigned property interior and exterior areas.
-Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility: mechanical, electrical and other installed systems, equipment, and other components
-Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment , plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings
-Perform assigned facility inspections
-Respond to all emergencies
-Prepare and submit to management summary reports
-Be able to support any after hours building related activity as required
-Attend periodic training seminars

Additional duties include the Operation, Maintenance and Repair of:
-Boilers, heaters, pumps, valves
-Refrigerant compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, and all devices used to control temperature and air conditioning systems.
-Air compressors, together with distribution lines and all valves and devices for air control.
-Electrical motors and engines used to power pumps, compressors and fans.
-Building automation systems for HVAC, including consoles, panels, remote sensors and indicating devices.
-General repair of doors, ceiling tiles, furniture, floors, blinds, and general handyman work

Must haves:
- Must have a valid state driver's license
- 5+ years experience as a Building Engineer/Mobile Engineer
- Minimum 4 years of technical aspects in HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment repair and maintenance of commercial buildings.
- Must have the federal universal certificate for CFC / EPA (Refrigerant)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
