Sr. Hardware Design Engineer

Looking to build a 6 person Hardware Design team to augment their current engineering team and enable them to fulfill commitments to their two largest customers. They have an incredible amount of work ahead of them the next few years to upgrade existing control systems and in some cases design new systems for sortation facilities and hubs across the country. The team will consist of 1 working Team Lead and 5 Mid and Junior level Electrical Design Engineers. These engineers will be direct placements opportunities.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
-Create detail electrical schematics using AutoCAD in 2D
-Design primary control panels, remote control panels and associated components and systems for material handling and sortation applications for parcel/post packages
-Power feed calculations, 480v power schematics, 120v power schematics, I/O drawings and field device layouts

ualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
* Must have strong AutoCAD design skills
* Design experience with industrial control systems
* Experience creating electrical schematics, device layouts, 3 phase electrical diagrams, and control panel layouts for conveyor systems

Preferred Experience:
* BS Electrical Engineering highly preferred
* Material handling or conveyor control system design
specifications: Controllogix, VFD's, HMI's etc
* Communication bus design experience
