Shift 5-7am to 1:30/3:30pm

Location: Lakewood, NJ
Job Duties:
- Tends manual or semiautomatic systems that process chemical substances into industrial or consumer products, such as sealants, adhesives, primers, and intermediates.
- Loads specified amounts of solid and liquid materials into heating/cooling vessels or blending tanks. Turns valves to feed liquid and solid materials through equipment units, or sets controls in specified sequence on control panel to start automatic feed.
- Monitors gauges, signals, and recorders; and receives notification from quality control laboratory, supervisor, or other workers to make specified operating adjustments.
- Draws samples of products for quality control analysis.
- Required to complete 3 batches per shift/6hrs
- Only changes to batches are the time it takes to mix
- PLC's disperse product/weight in lbs.
- Will be working in multiple areas, could be working in mixing/blending area or in cleaning
- Will be responsible for cleaning of tanks/kettles
- Time may be split 50/50 between mixing and cleaning
- Use of cleaning products to clean tanks
- With the use of a forklift, packages, palletizes, shrink-wraps and stages product into a staging area or directly onto a truck for transportation to external warehouses.
- May be required to assemble valves
- Use of basic hand and power tools
