This role will be pivotal in improving confidence in each product release by driving mature full-stack development and quality assurance practices.

Description

An HDQC Software Engineer is an experienced software engineer. Software engineers are encouraged to bring fresh ideas, new perspectives, and an eagerness to learn new technologies.

Experience:

  • Prefer some experience with React, Redux and/or other Javascript technologies
  • Full-stack software engineering experience on a high-performance software application
  • Experience working with coss-functional teams in an Agile software development environment
  • Experience designing large-scale automation for high-performance applications
  • Experience using Selenium, or similar tools (Mocha, Jasmine, Enzyme, Cucumber)
  • Experience building automation that tests for depth and breadth
  • Experience with integration, load, client and unit testing
NATURE AND SCOPE
Position reports to the Manager, Information Services
No direct responsibility for supervising others.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
