Join the team of an established family-owned manufacturer in Morgan County, IL. Our client is seeking a hands-on leader to direct their Accounting team. The Director of Accounting maintains the GL using Exact Macola but expertise in Excel and Access are also required. Earn $60-$90k commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Full financial statement preparation responsibilities
- Manager of financial team (1-5 employees)
- Quarterly and annual reporting
- Annual Budget preparation
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive "hands on" approach to accounting
- Excellent analytical skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient with Excel and Access skills
