About this job
Our client, a Property Management Company, in Carmel, IN has requested we help them find a Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician. During your assignment you will have access to benefits that can include medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, holiday pay, and earned vacation time.
DUTIES:
* This person will be able to speak with and maintain a good relationship with homeowners
* Take on projects and see them through to completion
* Changing light bulbs
* Picking up trash outdoors
* Plumbing repair
* Electrical troubleshooting
* HVAC maintenance and service
* Drywall repair and painting possible
* Light maintenance of equipment. This includes sharpening blades, changing tires, etc.
* Mowing, trimming, cutting hedges, etc.
* Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Highly motivated, fast-paced environment
* Strong administration skills with the ability to manage your schedule
* Motivated self-starter
*Standing and walking for long periods of time, work in various areas.
*Perform verbal communication with various employees both within and outside of Utilities Department.
*Performing physical bending, lifting, crawling, climbing, and stooping, complete cleaning and/or minor repair work.
*By visual review, ensure the cleanliness of all assigned areas.
* Basic knowledge of mowing equipment and a mechanical aptitude
* Need a dependable, trustworthy person
* Good attendance and punctuality are required
* Detail Oriented
