INVENTORY MANAGER-

You will partner with our clients, who are among the leading retailers, to deliver best-in-class inventory services. We are looking for Inventory Manager in the Manchester, NH area.

This is a fulltime salaried Inventory Manager role that along with an Inventory Supervisor manages Inventory Associates at physical inventory events. It requires approximately 25 hours of weekly field travel by car in addition to normal hours needed to execute physical inventories at customer sites each week. This will include our customers in Maine. If traveling out of state, hotel accommodations are provided.

Responsibilities: Assist in overall execution of assigned jobs. May include employee supervision, customer interaction, computer operation, staffing (hiring, interviewing, scheduling and managing) and strategic planning along with other items as they may occur. Candidate will work closely with Inventory Supervisor and Inventory Associates to ensure service delivery as well as achieving overall production and financial results.
This opportunity will transition after six months to an Area Manager position for this office that includes P&L responsibility once you have proven you can run operations and manage multiple inventories autonomously.

Requirements:
* As Area Manager, you must be willing to start in the office as early as 3:00 am (Mon- Thursday) and travel to customer site by 6:00 am with your team members as needed during the week. Until your Inventory Manager is running jobs smoothly, you are expected to work alongside your subordinate managers. Company van will be provided.
* Travel to Maine is expected either once a week or bi-weekly. This will require an overnight stay at a hotel.
* Ability to work autonomously.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree strongly preferred, but will consider candidates with extensive operations experience and/or Associates Degree
* Previous inventory experience preferred. Experience leading operational units with P&L responsibility; industry experience in retail., restaurant, hospitality and/or warehousing managing associates in fast-paced environment is highly preferred.
* Personal transportation, five consecutive years with driver's license and an acceptable driving record required.

Experience and skills:
* Experience managing large teams in daily activities is required.
* Understanding of financial reports, and ability to achieve goals.
* Strong organizational, analytical, self-management and goal setting skills.
* Have a desire to learn the inventory business and the drive to reach for promotional opportunities.
* Enthusiasm combined with a hands-on management style.
* Candidate must be results-driven, creative multi-tasker who can create a dynamic team culture in our offices autonomously.
* Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to direct/train/motivate staff.
* Computer skills and the ability to decipher reports is a plus.
