Job Overview:
Primary responsibility is to source candidates for high volume hourly positions in hard-to-fill markets in preparation for peak hiring season. In addition, this position will support volume recruitment for positions within all Macy’s functions as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is based out of Downtown Cincinnati.
Essential Functions:
• Function as a primary volume recruiter
• Execute market-specific sourcing strategies based on recruiting needs
• Identify and communicate issues with existing talent sourcing strategies and methods
• Prioritize workload and execution in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Provide insights to Talent Acquisition Team on sourcing trends, tools and strategies
• Respond to all appropriate client requests with a high sense of urgency
• Utilize CRM, ATS, and other recruitment tools with a high level of accuracy
• Manage administrative aspects of search strategies including posting positions and tracking
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• HS Diploma/equivalent.
• A year of prior recruiting/sourcing/social media experience strongly preferred.
• Open to cold calling and interviewing experience for hard-to-fill positions.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn, Monster, CareerBuilder, ATS, and CRM; social media recruitment a plus.
Communication Skills:
• Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Mathematical Skills:
• Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Reasoning Ability:
• Excellent analytical skills and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to quickly change priorities on a moment by moment basis.
Physical Demands:
• This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment. May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Other Skills:
• Data mining highly desirable.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
