Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Still Life Stylist to work in our Cheshire CT photo studio styling product shots (soft goods and accessories) and bust forms. Taking direction from Creative and Planning teams, this position will work directly with studio photographers to elevate and execute the styling needs of the ecommerce studio. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, high volume studio, have excellent attention to detail, and be eager to learn our styling techniques and aesthetic to bring product to life. Still Life portfolio that includes both laydowns and pinups as well as accessories/hard goods styling is a must. Perform other duties, as assigned.
Essential Functions:
• Style a wide range of products for the web according to Bloomingdale’s standards and directives
• Work closely with Photographers, Art Directors and production/planning to execute shots and react to changing priorities
• Oversee handling of merchandise while in studio’s possession, ensuring it is received and returned in immaculate, sellable condition and in a timely manner
• Partner with Photographer and ADs to ensure a consistency amongst product shots and alert team of any discrepancies
• Share responsibility for proper care, upkeep and maintenance of the photo studio workspace & supplies
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• 2+ years still life styling experience in a fast-paced ecomm studio environment, luxury a plus
• Proficiency in Capture One a plus
Other Skills:
• Keen eye for detail and knowledge of studio processes
• Bring experience in still life product styling as well as a positive energy to the studio team
Work Hours:
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
