We're looking for motivated, experienced team leaders to join the Zephyr Lodge team!

You will take two chair lift rides to this location.  Zephyr Lodge is located on the mountain at the top of the Tahoe Zephyr Express lift.  The newest on-mountain restaurant and bar, the Zephyr Lodge features an open floor plan, large timbers and a huge window wall offering spectacular views of the Pacific Crest.  Enjoy a variety of internationally-inspired menu options including noodle and rice bowls, upscale grill, gourmet pizza, specialty soups and a salad bar.  Open 8:30-4. Calling all engaging, detail-oriented, friendly applicants to join the Zephyr crew!  As a Lodge Supervisor, guest service and smooth operations are your top priorities.  Team Leads are responsible for organizing and delegating daily tasks, overseeing adherence to policies, job sharing, and performing the functions of the following positions: cashier, busser, expo, cook, and bartender.  Throughout the day you will be delgating tasks, greeting guests, suggesting menu choices, listening to feedback about service and food quality, and guiding staff to ensure any issues are addressed.  

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Communicates with management team to ensure proper management of staff and projects.
• Assists management team to motivate, evaluate, and direct staff to ensure adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established goals. 
• Ensures that all employees receive training, support, guidance, feedback, and resources necessary for success.
• Responsible for providing quality guest experiences.
• In absence of the General Manger, ability to delegate responsibility, motivate and lead direct reports to achieve goals.
• Familiarity with state and federal environmental standards and OSHA regulations.
• Understanding of corporate and resort specific policies and procedures.
• Observes, evaluates, and reports employees’ daily job performance.
• Assists in providing quality to guests by directing staff in meeting quality standards and food handling and preparation, safety and sanitation.
• Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals.
• Flexible working hours. 

• Provides information to customers by answering food preparation questions and resolving special requests.

• Protects customers and employees by adhering to all sanitation policies and procedures and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

• Communicate proactively with management team and fellow staff members, and provide input regarding lodge operations and elevated guest experience.
