This position is responsible for leading the execution of specific brand/product marketing programs in the areas of consumer promotion special events coupon sales communication and analytical support to senior brand management in the areas of trend analysis sales analysis financial analysis and syndicated research analysis that align with the overall company and business unit vision and strategies.

  • Responsible for developing brand/product objectives and strategies
  • Responsible for helping deliver gross sales net sales and EBIT targets for Brand/Product Business teams
  • Leads advertising and promotions agency in developing and executing annual consumer communications programs
  • Develops and launch new products based on consumer insights new product development will include ownership of product final formulation forecasting product P&Ls packaging (structure and graphics) launch plans and distribution plans
  • Tracks and evaluate new and base product performance based on key performance indicators
  • Manages all related ASM activities which support new product trial and distribution
  • Tracks and guides programs and performance of branded products at top 10 grocery accounts
  • Leads direct reports in the above brand/product related business- building programs
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor' degree or equivalent required.

Years of Related Experience: Typically has a minimum 6 years related experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • PC skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook products.
  • Detailed knowledge of company and group products policies and processes along with analytical leadership and communication skills required.
  • Experienced in selling-in new products brand leadership strategies and consumer insights gained through experience at national retailers.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing as well as the ability to work across the organization with all levels of management to utilize leverage and establish cross-department synergies.
  • Understanding of new product process and track record of successful product innovation leadership; ability and demonstrated experience in managing P&L to ensure delivery of business goals; strong marketer who understands how to leverage insights into positioning branding communication and innovation; highest integrity in keeping with company values.
