Analyst/Developer - Accounting

A successful Software Engineer will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A or B.S.); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Well versed in business transformation, process reengineering or other change management practice.
• Strong technical knowledge with Oracle 11i/12i Apps table structure.
• 3 - 5 years hands on experience with Oracle ERP 11i / R12 applications - particularly P2P, O2C, and Inventory modules.
• Very experienced with PL/SQL, ANSI SQL, Java and VB.Net
• Hands on knowledgeable with 3rd party reporting tools such as Hyperion, OBIEE, SSRS, RDLC and Tableau.
• Experience with SQL Server 2012 including very strong skills in SSIS, SSMS, SSRS, SSAS.

The Software Engineer will work with the Technical and Strategic Solution Team to design, build and deploy solutions for the Accounting Department.  Knowledge of current BI tools (Hyperion, OBIEE, Tableau, and Data Marts), Visual Studio (Web Applications and SSIS), Oracle EBS table structure, and a strong background in accounting functionality is a must for this position.

Job duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•  Produce automated and ad-hoc reports and self-service tools using SQL and Dish preferred reporting tools.
• Analyze system and data requirements in selecting the precise tools for designing optimal solutions.
• Perform as technical lead in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of various reporting needs and custom application solutions.
• Derive insights from data, spot issues with data, and being resourceful to find solutions.
• Continuously work with the business to build relationships, understand needs and the impact of your work, and ensure accuracy.
