A great company in Mooresville is looking for a General Assembler to work 1st shift (7am to 5:30pm) Monday through Friday. The job information is listed below.
Summary and objective:
This position is for a general assembler to work on the manufacturing line on 1st shift.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Hand solder PCAs in the production process, ensuring compliance to specified requirements, IPC610 standards, and customer documentation
Hand assembly of PCAs and TLAs, ensuring compliance to specified requirements, IPC610 standards, and customer documentation
Preparation of components for use on manufacturing line
Labeling and depaneling of assemblies as required
Work in work cells as necessary


Qualifications:

Preference given to candidates with J-STD-001 Certification
Excellent communication skills -- both written and verbal
Attention to detail and organized
Computer literacy required -- ability to use Aegis
High school diploma or two years' experience
Must be able to stand for periods of time when depaneling boards
Ability to lift kits of material and trays of assemblies


Job Details:

Reports to: Manufacturing Team Leader
Standard hours: Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5:30pm, overtime required as needed
Salary: To be determined based on the individual and where you are in your current pay range.
