Baler Operator - Machine Operator

Staffmark is hiring for a Baler Operator/Machine Operator in the Chamblee, Ga area. Responsibilities will include tending machines that shred and/or compresses and binds paper products generated from the print manufacturing process to facilitate disposition of waste materials. Thread tie bands around bale and twists or clamps ends of bands. Opens compression chamber doors and removes bale from the machine. Perform routine maintenance on the baling machinery and remove obstructions in the cyclone as needed. May load bales on trucks, rail cars for disposal and replacement. May require knowledge of materials. Tracking and control system. Minor lubrication maintenance and attention to condition and functionality of equipment operated.
Shift is a night shift, hours are from 6:30pm-6:30am. Days rotate every 4-5 weeks from Mon-Wed to Thursday-Sunday. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Please submit your resume for immediate consideration.
