Dispatch Specialist needed for an emergency response restoration service in northeast Anaheim, CA.

SERVPRO® of Yorba Linda/Brea and SERVPRO® of Anaheim Hills and SERVPRO® of Norwalk are seeking a Dispatch Specialist. Join our growing team NOW! This job is immediately available for the candidate possessing the required attributes!

Requirements:

  • MUST be fully bilingual English / Spanish. MUST be articulate and easily understandable.
  • MUST be available for the 2nd shift: Mon – Fri, 10AM -7PM with rotating Saturday mornings + on-call shifts, without outside obligations interfering with work hours/schedule
  • MUST be an efficient, hard worker with a strong authoritative personality!
  • MUST be comfortable communicating rapidly with different demographics (technicians, management, insurance adjustors, homeowners in crisis) using different mediums (texting, calls, email) on a consistent basis throughout the day.
  • MUST have a solid recall/memory and be able to juggle a lot of information mentally.
  • MUST be able to work well under pressure and be take decisive measures to tackle any scheduling issues.
  • MUST be proficient on Excel, Outlook, Word, and familiarity with database software Fleetmatics. MUST be very comfortable with email, office phones, iPhone apps. If familiar with Timeworks (Payroll software), it’s a plus.
  • MUST be educated. High school diploma required, some college preferred, Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • MUST pass a standard drug/alcohol screen and background check, and provide positive references.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and manage a team / fleet of about 50 technicians / production employees .
  • Create teams / crews on a daily basis to respond to our daily jobs.
  • Create daily scheduled routes for technicians in the field while coordinating client appointments based on locations.
  • Make and confirm appointments with clients / insurance adjusters throughout the day.
  • Follow up with technicians to make sure we were responding on a timely manner to all appointments, oversee the general progress of the projects.
  • Dispatch and coordinate meetings for management and employees while making sure their routes and daily schedules are not affected.
  • Record daily hours technicians work and address any discrepancies in order to create time cards for paychecks.
  • General office practices; handle daily on average over 100+ emails and calls. Outstanding availability to multitask and work under time pressure. Report work-related accidents, and to help staff fill out injury paperwork and seek treatment.

This is an exempt, salaried position with wage commensurate with the schedule expected (regular schedule, extra time if needed to get the jobs done, plus uncontrolled on-call rotation).
