Responsibilities
As a Nugget Markets deli clerk, you would be responsible for taking guest orders via phone and in person; preparing and serving deli foods (including signature and build your own sandwiches and chef-prepared entrées) and maintaining a clean work environment. Other responsibilities include sharing product knowledge, promoting our prepared foods and otherwise engaging with our diverse guests in a personable and enthusiastic manner.
Our associates share a strong work ethic and dedication to providing our guests with world-class service. To be successful in this position, associates must be team players with excellent communication skills who are able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Along with being able to prepare deli items and assist guests in a time effective manner, a POSITIVE ATTITUDE is essential!
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to constant standing; frequent bending and twisting; occasional kneeling and squatting; fine hand manipulation and power grasping; frequent light and moderate lifting; and occasional heavy lifting. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
