Medical Assistant

If so then come and join our medical team at the La Clinica Wellness Center! We are currently seeking dynamic, optimistic individuals who are passionate about serving those in need. 

Our Wellness Center medical assistants are essential in providing care to our patients. 

Duties include:

• Promoting health and wellness
• Obtaining medical histories and vital signs
• Injections, vaccinations, venipuncture
• Assisting in procedures
• Answering patient phone calls
• Administrative correspondence and appointment scheduling

Must be able to interact with a variety of individuals; work productively both independently and in a team setting; communicate with clarity, both verbally and in writing to groups and individuals.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• CCMA certification by the National Healthcare Association (NHA) or an equivalent is required
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or one year of experience working as a medical assistant is necessary
• Ability to speak and write fluent Spanish is preferred but not required
