About this job

Overview:

Responsible for promptly resolving customer, store, and 3rd party EGC inquiries; providing a high level of customer service; assisting other areas including Fraud Prevention and Authorization; performing other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Resolve gift card inquiries by phone.
  • Track, record, and process EGC information in spreadsheets, database queues, and reports.
  • Follow up with customers.
  • Provide additional departmental support as assigned.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. 

Qualifications


Education/Experience:  

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.  One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.

 Communication Skills:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: 

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form; solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands: 

  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, and feel; frequently required to reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; requires close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Other Skills:

  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service to external and internal customers on a consistent basis; strong decision-making skills; excellent telephone etiquette; computer navigation and keyboarding skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Work Hours:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department Company needs.
