SUMMARY OF POSITION
Deliver orders and collect payments from customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner representative of the high standards of Applebee’s. Drivers will receive hourly pay as well as the opportunity to receive tips and delivery fees. Drivers will be expected to perform opening and closing duties associated with delivery. Drivers will also maintain their cars in a clean and professional manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make deliveries of our products to residential and commercial locations
- Log beginning and ending mileage of their vehicle in order to be reimbursed for delivery fees.
- Must provide proof of insurance for the car and person driving the car.
- Driver cannot have more than two moving violations in the past 2 years
- Ability to compute change to and from the guest. Accept guest payment, handle credit card charges.
- Ensure route is done efficiently and accurately
- Wash vehicle inside and out, showing pride in the equipment used.
- Assist and maintain items needed for the guests to deliver great guest experience
- Ability to possess a cell phone to call guests and take payment
- Be capable of following GPS or map instructions
- Be able to reach, seat, drive, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
- Will not carry weapons of any kind in the car
- Will not carry drugs or alcohol in the car
- Have exceptional grooming and hygiene habits
- Always possess honesty and integrity
- Give customers more than they expect
- Be creative and resourceful
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid state driver’s license
- Possess a street legal properly maintained licensed vehicle capable of driving 200 miles per day
