The Project Manager, Process Improvement is responsible to identify and lead initiatives to improve the Innovel supply chain processes for SHC. The incumbent will utilize process mapping and analysis and project management methodologies to implement initiatives that streamline, standardize and improve final mile logistics for Innovel. This position will lead cross-functional teams and partner closely with all areas of /associated enterprise organizations (e.g. merchandising, marketing, logistics, store operations, IT) in order to continuously improve processes and drive change.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Create process flowcharts using Visio
* The incumbent must be able to apply process mapping methodologies. Mapping the as-is and end-state processes is key in communicating low and high-value added activities to the business, and helps the team identify process improvements.
* Work collaboratively with individuals on all levels. The incumbent must be able to build and maintain high performance teams through their own actions, as well as direction they provide to others. Leadership through all phases of process improvement projects
* The incumbent must be able to build and align project teams focused on the end goal of serving our internal and external customers. They must possess a team oriented, customer centric leadership style, and be able to lead effective team meetings. Drive process improvement and change initiatives
* The incumbent must understand how to identify and implement needed process controls and metrics in order to ascertain the effectiveness of the process improvements initiatives. Additionally, they must be effective change agents driven to inspire and implement change. Partner with IT to help implement technology solutions for the business
* Bring together innovative process ideas with enabling technology. Document process standards for success
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process mapping, process improvement, and process management methodologies. As lessons are learned, the incumbent must help refine and update the documented standards/tools used for inventory management.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* Lead people and projects effectively.
* Logical, analytical, organized thinker willing to question the status quo.
* Extensive knowledge of large project management practices and associated project management tools
* Full proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Visio and MS Project software
* Ability to effectively manage projects and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. They must be able to communicate complex issues and concepts simply in order to gain understanding, buy-in and support
* Ability to influence all levels within a complex organization. Incumbent must enjoy and be effective at working across the organization and be able to influence upward as well as downward in the organization.
* High level of comfort in communicating with all levels of management
* Experience and comfort in presenting to groups of individuals
* A demonstrated capacity to work well within team environments, including experience in managing team dynamics and exerting influence without the benefit of possessing direct authority
* Passion for learning and innovation

EDUCATION and YEARS of EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelors Level Degree (Post-graduate degree in business or supply chain management a plus).
* PMP certification and Six Sigma a plus!
* 5-10 years overall professional work experience. Supply Chain/Retail experience a plus.
* 2-5 years of process improvement and design and project management experience, preferably with IT implementation or consulting
