Rubber Fabricator - Direct Hire Opportunity!

Job Title: Rubber Fabricator (1st shift)

Location: US-WI-Madison

Overview:

Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Manager, this position will operate industrial equipment and perform industrial processes to produce products, safely and efficiently, which match product specifications and meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets blueprints, traveler requirements and manufacturing instructions; may require operator to perform mathematical calculations.
• Selects proper tooling, equipment and/or raw material to perform the job.
• Applies quality control measures, uses precision measuring devices and accurately records measurements.
• Operates equipment and hand tools to produce product or perform work, in a safe manner that will meet Weir’s efficiency and quality standards.
• Notifies manager or team leader of sub-standard quality of product and/or process.
• Lifts and moves heavy objects by hand, using forklift, cart or other material handling equipment.
• Records and reports production labor hours, product quantity and product quality, as required.
• Informs manager or shift Lead person of supplies needed.
• Exhibits flexibility in moving to other operational areas and shifts, as needed; works overtime when necessary to achieve or maintain customer or partner promises and relationships.
