Position: Job Coach
Job Summary: Seeking a passionate, energetic, person who wants to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities in Madison, WI. Position requires working with adults with disabilities in a variety of community employment and home settings. Looking for individuals willing to make a long term commitment to the individuals they would be supporting.
Duties:
- Assistance would include supervision and support for employment and volunteer sites and training skills necessary for independence.
- Travel with vehicle to multiple job sites and volunteer sites throughout the day
- Physical job, requires pushing, pulling. lifting, bending and standing on your feet during the course of a day.
- This is not an office or desk job, requires ability to handle schedule changes.
Location: Madison, WI
Pay: $11.33/hr.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associates Degree in Human Services preferred.
- Must be physically able to stand on your feet several hours per day, bend ,push and lift over 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Relevant experience a plus.
- Clean driving record, reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance, required.
- Driving to multiple sites during the day is required.
