Sanitation Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Position: Sanitation Associate

Job Summary: Maintains the cleanliness of the physical plant and equipment, including the building structure and process equipment, within cleaning time deadlines

• Responsible for adhering to Devon’s human safety policies and procedures.
• Responsible for adhering to food safety, quality and regulatory practices and procedures that apply to the role in which you are assigned.
• Properly break down, clean and reassemble all machines, machine parts and utensils according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Maintain cleanliness of the processing, warehouse, cooler, dock, and employee premises throughout the company’s work area.
• Report any food safety and quality issues/problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Help to support the requirement of keeping all finished product and pallets clean and free from contamination to ensure the highest food quality and food safety.
• Make sure machines are cleaned in a timely fashion and according to Devon’s Standards
• Other tasks as assigned.

Location: Sun Prairie, WI

Pay: $15-17/hr.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 2nd shift

Qualifications:

• Basic sanitation experience desired
• Basic knowledge of Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP''s) a plus
• Must be dependable, honest and proactive
• Willing to work in cool/hot and wet conditions
• Must be able to work overtime if necessary
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
