Dispatcher

In your role as a Dispatcher in the transportation department you will be overseeing the movement of product, scheduling routes/services, and fielding requests from customers, while ensuring accuracy, on time and on budget.  You will also help to grow our client's business and build on their success by:

• Fielding external customer calls
• Preparing all driver routes, including related paperwork
• Coordinating with sales on set-up and delivery for customers
• Communicating volumes, driver schedules, fleet usage and special handling requests

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills to support and build relationships with customers, drivers and members of the team
• Previous customer service experience in a call center environment
• Good problem solving and creative thinking skills
• Effective time management skills with a good attention to detail
• Computer skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
