The Construction Admin empowers daily office operations. Responsible for creating and enforcing efficient structures for relating to clients, contractors, vendors, and colleagues. Scheduling, filing, registrations, and records of all kinds fall under the Construction Admin. domain.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage internal operations
  • Purchase & coordinate travel for team
  • Organize and update team calendar
  • Maintain online files & databases
  • Track company expenditures
  • Manage & submit mileage reports to bookkeeper
  • Scan and file receipts
  • Maintain company compliance with federal, state, and local jurisdiction
  • Review state & local tax, license, and registration requirements as needed
  • File state & local paperwork (e-file and ground mail)
  • Manage external & incoming communications
  • Draft and process lien waivers
  • Manage sub-contractor classifications
  • Collect and document professional references for sub-contractors
  • Draft & distribute sales tax exemption forms, notices to contract, etc.
Qualifications and Prerequisites:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with AIA contract documents
Preferences:
  • Experience with hotel construction
  • Experience with construction submittals and/or hotel brand submittals
  • College degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks
Pay Range - $18-24/hour Depending on Experience
