Summary:

The Sr. Financial Analyst position is responsible for risk and exposure management, identifying and implementing solutions to accounting issues and ensuring the integrity of the company’s financial data. This position is also responsible for performing all other responsibilities, as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is an exempt position and typically reports to the department manager.

Essential Functions:
  • Performs financial analyses to detect issues, enhance performance and recommend action plans
  • Identifies and implements solutions to accounting process issues
  • Communicates with a wide range of internal and external customers (other departments, field locations, management, auditors, systems personnel, etc.)
  • Supports peers and management as well as provides functional expertise on non-routine projects
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other business related course of study
  • CPA / foreign equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of related experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office required, PeopleSoft preferred)
