Your responsibilities:
* Responsible for overseeing a staff of 3 associates as well as maintaining public space and resident apartments
* Prepare staffing schedules and daily assignments to ensure proper coverage
* Monitors inventory levels, orders all equipment and supplies needed for department, and ensure the safe handling and storage of them
* Interact with residents and guests in a friendly and courteous manner, providing assistance and directions as requested
* Assist staff with the cleaning of common areas and residences rooms
Required skills and qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* Two years of housekeeping experience preferred
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
* Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
* Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
