The Contact Center Senior Living Advisor (Call Center Specialist) is able to convey compassion, respect, courage and passion through telephone and electronic communications that engage customers in trusting relationships. Responds to customer inquiries and increases interest and growth in company services and products.

Your responsibilities:
* Contact new inquiries routed to the Brookdale Call Center"s database as a Pending Lead
* Determine whether the caller is ready for help in determining one or more communities within a geographic area that might meet their need, or whether the caller is seeking information to support a general need, but is not ready for discussions with a sales associate at a particular Brookdale community
* Transfer sales-ready leads within the database to the identified community, along with complete documentation about the customer"s expressed need in order for the community sales associate to pick-up the personal connection and discovery process mid-stream vs. starting over from the beginning
* Nurture leads that are not yet ready to be forwarded to a particular community through multiple communication channels, supplying information that is related to the customer"s expressed interest or need, and with scheduled follow-up conversations to advance the lead toward choosing a community to visit as quickly as possible
* Support Brookdale communities through outbound calls and e-mails with the objective of updating the prospect"s situation and information within the database and scheduling appropriate follow-up activities within the database for the community sales associate, with an emphasis on setting an appointment for the prospect to visit the community
* Work closely with community sales and operations associates as an extension of their sales team
* Manage all leads to ensure the quality of data entered into the lead tracking system meets all compliance requirements
* Maintain and communicate current product/service information to prospective residents and serve as the point of contact for the prospect as needed



Required skills and qualifications:
* Customer service, marketing or sales experience is preferred with one to two years related experience and/or training
* High School diploma required
* Bachelor"s Degree (B. A. or B. S.) from a four-year college or university preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Ability to present self and Community as an organization ready to meet the needs of the senior to maximize their quality of life by providing the highest quality of care and services
* Ability to operate personal computers and related software
* Effective listening and communication skills both verbally and in writing is essential
* Must be a self-starter who excels in organizational and time-management skills, in a dynamic environment
